In this sacred kshetra, many special poojas, homas, and yagas are performed with great devotion to relieve the sufferings of devotees. Among them, the Sankashta Hara Maha Ganapati Pooja is considered extremely special, and it is strongly believed that it removes difficulties and obstacles from a devotee’s life.
Poojas performed specifically during Rahu Kala are regarded as highly powerful and result-oriented, as devotees receive the special blessings of Mahadeshwari Devi during that time. As per scriptural belief, divine Shakti energy flows from the sacred waters of the seven directions, and through the Brahma Dwara and Mangala Dwara, the power of Mahadeshwari becomes highly active in this kshetra. During this period, special naivedya offerings, homas, and poojas are conducted.
Every month, on the day of the Aridra Nakshatra, the Shiva–Parvati Kalyanotsava is performed with deep devotion. Along with this, daily homas and havans are conducted regularly in the temple’s yagashala.
Especially during the Ashadha month, the Navachandika Yaga related to Chamundeshwari Devi is performed with great faith and devotion. In addition, devotees can also conduct special homas as per their wish, such as Chandika Homa, Navachandika Homa, and Mahalakshmi Homa.
It is believed that by performing these homas and yagas, obstacles in life are removed, negative energies are eliminated, and positivity, peace, and prosperity increase. For those affected by issues such as mantra-related disturbances, evil eye (drishti dosha), unknown fears, or other doshas, suitable remedies and protective measures are carried out as per scriptures. Devotees have experienced that these doshas are resolved quickly through such spiritual practices.
Overall, the poojas, homas, and yagas conducted in this kshetra are divine means that remove negativity from devotees’ lives and bring positivity, strength, and mental peace.
